Boccamonte
Visual identity and digital platform for Boccamonte, a space for hospitality and cultural production rooted in modernist architecture.
Hidden in the woods above Bocca di Magra, Boccamonte is a collection of houses designed by architect Luisa Castiglioni throughout the 1960s, where architecture, landscape, and everyday rituals have been layered over time. Originally conceived as a place of hospitality, the project is now expanding into a broader platform for design, research, and cultural production.
Studio Vedèt was invited to shape Boccamonte’s new visual identity and digital presence, translating the site’s stratified character into a visual language built on accumulation, contrast, and continuity.
Drawing from the material and temporal layers that define the project, the identity unfolds through a system of superimpositions, shifts in scale, and measured rhythms, where memory and contemporary gestures coexist in constant dialogue.
Conceived as both editorial and commercial platform, the website brings together hospitality, archival narratives, and the first Boccamonte design editions, marking a new chapter in the project’s ongoing evolution.
