TRAME is a homeware brand that marries the exceptional know-how of Mediterranean craftsmen with contemporary design. Each collection is inspired by a historical episode that reflects a bi-cultural journey across the sea. Studio Vedèt has led a comprehensive creative purview of the project, from curating the collaborations to designing the visual identity, packaging, exhibitions, and e-commerce platform.
Studio Vedèt selected the designers and curated the storytelling for three different Trame collections set in the Mediterranean territories of Morocco, Calabria, and Andalusia. For each collection, we art-directed photo/video campaigns, as well as set up presentation events, we followed the storytelling on social media and on the website and guided the brand in the direction of the maximum press coverage.
TRAME brings a fresh point of view to those who have spent generations refining artisan techniques and provides economic benefits for local communities while helping to conserve their common cultural heritage. TRAME, on the other hand, gives contemporary designers a chance to measure themselves against techniques and traditions of the past. Vedèt’s visual narrative depicts, with graphics, color, and imagery, a new eclectic vision of modern living that encourages dynamic clashes between craft and contemporary cultures.
